Leah came to Newport to attend Salve Regina University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in English. She was “sold” on Newport and along with her husband, who is a private yacht Captain, and their son, decided to make Newport home because the water and the nature of the coast is so beautiful. She believes it is a great place to raise a child and the location is also convenient to stay connected with her immediate family which hails from Waterbury, Connecticut and Orleans on Cape Cod.
Leah comes to real estate with a strong sales and negotiation background having had been associated with two local yacht brokerage firms. In addition, she has experience with the mortgage industry having worked in local bank lending. With this knowledge, Leah believes she can negotiate the best transaction for you and assist you in finding the right mortgage product for your specific needs.
Leah is an active member of the community. She believes in preserving nature and is an active member of the Norman Bird Sanctuary. In addition, she volunteers on a regular basis at The Pennfield School. Leah also is a member of the Newport County Board of Realtors and the Newport County Chamber of Commerce. When not working, taking care of her son and volunteering, she and her son will be traveling to join her husband while he is docked in ports such as Florida, the Caribbean, Mexico and Bermuda.
